Neither of us know. I just dont think the financials at Everton could pay only 10 players nearly £60m of our annual turnover. That said, we are a bit daft these days.

The reality is that American football only has about 12 minutes a game of action.

I went to a game in the States many years ago.
One of the fellas I went with fell asleep.
Constant stop start and seemed to go on for about 3 hours.

Given Liverpool are almost guaranteed to finish in the top four and likely to challenge strongly for the league title I think finishing above them would be a very big time target tbh.

Me neither but like I say finishing above Liverpool would basically mean finishing in the top four so whatever way you look at it it would be a good season. If they were bottom half fodder it would be different but they arent.

Imagine if Brands even dared go after Wilfred Zaha. I think he would.

We have that many players on those sort of wages because we have been spending beyond our means. That's not an argument for doubling down on that strategy. Our wages to turnover figures are scary, not Barca scary, but not good either. We need to get smarter in the market. CHO is a good player but it's not a smart transfer.

The frustrating issue is that the current system is completely onesided towards protecting legacy teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, etc the explosion of overnight wealth and unlimited budget at PSG, Chelsea, Man City, etc has got the old guard running scared, creating a system that now limits or stops altogether a club buying success. He doesn't fit our team. He basically has to be left side of a 4-3-3 and we aren't playing like that.

No idea where they will finish couldn't care less . I want my club to aim for trophies and success not small-time bragging rights.
