Morning all,
With time running out to get players in and out, ere’s a summary of the rumours doing the rounds on 26th August.

The future of Sheffiled United striker Daniel Jebbison remains up in the air.

Everton are interested in signing the 18-year-old on a permanent basis, but it seems as though the Championship side are only willing to consider a loan move.

The Athletic have revealed that League One sides Sunderand and Burton Albion both made attempts of a loan deal, but neither have materialised as Sheffield continue to chase a substantial loan fee

Everton have confirmed Nathangelo Markelo has left the club and joined PSV Eindhoven.

The versatile Dutchman, who can play at centre-back, wing-back or in midfield, joined the Blues in the summer of 2017 from FC Volendam in his homeland and played for the Toffees Under-23 team. (Echo)

Juventus could target Borussia Dortmund star Axel Witsel to replace Weston McKennie if the midfielder leaves, amid interest from Tottenham and Everton, per Calciomercato.

Everton and Aston Villa have shown an interest in signing McKennie if he leaves Juventus in the next week. Additionally, Tuttosport report Tottenham Managing Director Fabio Paratici proposed a swap-deal involving Moussa Sissoko, after Juve rejected Tanguy Ndombele.

Sunderland have offered a contract to former Everton goalkeeper Jack McIntyre following his impressive trial at the Stadium of Light, as reported by the Sunderland Echo.

Barcelona will keep Samuel Umtiti for the 2021/22 season after failing to convince the defender to leave the club, amid rumoured interest from Everton, according to Sport.

Should Kylian Mbappe leave to join Real Madrid, Richarlison has been mentioned as a possible target for PSG (BBC)

Feel the RB we will end up with is Celik on loan with option to buy
Diaby will be a HUGE fee like £50m+ to get him out of Leverkusen having just sold Bailey they are in better financial shape and frankly we should have been looking into signing this type of player at his original move fee of £13m but our scouting has let's say been off sight of late.

Antony will be the cheaper option but still we would be looking around £30m and he has a similar trajectory to Richarlison also.

Happy with Patterson (who will be playing tonight for Rangers due to players out with Covid) and Jebbison (who was subbed at halftime against Derby in the cup) but I'd say "undisclosed fees" will be the likely outcome so £5-7m with add-ons.

Maximin for me is a huge NO like Bolaise-Level NO. He is a one trick pony and his fitness level are proof that this pony only 24 isn't getting any better. He will cost £30-40m and he is a dreadful footballer.

Zaha here we go again! 2 years ago yeah but now, meh! He hasn't the worst stats
(104 apps - 27 goals - 17 assists in 3 seasons) compared to Richarlison
(108 apps - 34 goals - 9 assists in 3 seasons)

But it's the price tag, age and sell on.
Richarlison was £35m (£50m with add-ons) and he is 24 IF he leaves it will be north of £70m easy, Palace will want £40m for Zaha who is 29 in November.

I would price Zaha in the Ings bracket of £25m but he has an extra year however questionable if he can settle "up north"
I’d shocked if we signed Patterson now. Reckon we will end up with Celik from Lille on loan at RB and that’s it.
Reckon Marcel flying around the loan market for another front man/attacking option

All we are being linked with is outs. But apart from Gomes its not the players we all said we needed to offload like Delph, Iwobi, Davies and Kenny and we certainly don’t want to be losing Richarlison.

You really have to hope they have some serious business going on behind the scenes or we are nailed on for another mid to lower table finish with this squad.

We're stuck with those four (Richy honourably excluded) until they run down their lucrative contracts, others such as Tosun and Sigurdsson too most likely. We need to accept that we are where we are financially until they exit the club. A legacy of years of bad investment and questionable contract extensions.

If FFP does change next summer solely to the salary cap and not this profit/loss nonsense anymore hopefully we lash a good £150 million on top drawer younger players on reasonable wages to make up for this average summer window.
