Would be happy with that - people need to reign in expectations we are a midtable outfit with no europe - no world class striker is coming to play second fiddle on the bench to DCL.

If FFP does change next summer solely to the salary cap and not this profit/loss nonsense anymore hopefully we lash a good £150 million on top drawer younger players on reasonable wages to make up for this average summer window.

If a salary cap is introduced we could be in an even worse situation than under FFP depending upon which system they go for. I saw a report last year showing we had the highest wages to turnover ratio in the Premier League and also the largest losses. I think we will be screwed whichever system is introduced.

Brighton are struggling for goals and strikers. I think they would want at least 30 for him.

I’d rather pay 20 for a young striker and hope he comes good, While it’s hasn’t worked out for kean, though I think if COVID hadn’t happened, we would have sold him back to Italy for at worst our money back

I think we have came to terms that anyone with atleast 1 leg can score against us. Not a chance we get Maupay for anything less than 20 mill aswell
