The thought of Marcel Brands having potentially £80m+ to spend in 4 days is just as frightening as the thought of how we will cope without Richarlison once he’s gone.

Hope Ritchie stays. I wouldnt trust Benitez and Moshiri to replace him. Brands id have more confidence in - if he was left alone to do his job. Actually hope Kean and James stay too. Get a rb even on loan if we can't shift keane, delph, gomes, sig.., tosun, kenny, iwobi and Gordon and go again next summer when finances are better and the Dof calling the shots. We were only a rb short of Europe last season.

If we don't replace him it would be a mistake, same as it was last year. If we lose both and bring in one player (who lets face it won't be as good as Richy) it would be a dreadful mistake. If we lose both and don't bring in anybody, which may happen with just 3 days of the window left, then it would be a disaster. If James goes too?

So imagine that we loose Kean, Richy and James in the next few days - and get £100 mil (factoring in the £25 mil. the obligation to buy Kean). And looking at the players we have been linked with we might end up with:

- Saint-Maximine
- McNeil
- Maupay
- Patterson
- Jebbison

Would that not improve our squad or at least fill the gaps left by the three and give us more width?
