Not sure I trust this club to not spend a large chunk of any Richarlison money on someone like Neal Maupay.
if you squint it kind of looks like Mbappe

Exactly. McNeil and Maupay ffs. Literally the same amount of cash. Not sure I trust this club to not spend a large chunk of any Richarlison money on someone like Neal Maupay.
The thought of Marcel Brands having potentially £80m+ to spend in 4 days is just as frightening as the thought of how we will cope without Richarlison once he’s gone.
Hope Ritchie stays. I wouldnt trust Benitez and Moshiri to replace him. Brands id have more confidence in - if he was left alone to do his job. Actually hope Kean and James stay too. Get a rb even on loan if we can't shift keane, delph, gomes, sig.., tosun, kenny, iwobi and Gordon and go again next summer when finances are better and the Dof calling the shots. We were only a rb short of Europe last season. Is there any need for brands?
A sole example of where being dyslexic might be an advantage.if you squint it kind of looks like Mbappe
If we don't replace him it would be a mistake, same as it was last year. If we lose both and bring in one player (who lets face it won't be as good as Richy) it would be a dreadful mistake. If we lose both and don't bring in anybody, which may happen with just 3 days of the window left, then it would be a disaster. If James goes too?Losing Kean would be a disaster? Ha
It's a decent business model if not a little soulless for the old time fans from (checks notes) 1970 when they were founded to make a shed load of money. They'll probably make a billion pounds of profit just selling Messi shirts - because the vast majority of their fanbase are knobhead day trippers
Buy one get one free. The pair the brothers.Rondon to replace Richy & a big £50mil move for whichever Longstaff is crapper
To be honest, out if that bunch, I think I'd trust Benitez the most.Hope Ritchie stays. In a perfect world we’d sign like 10 new players but it ain’t happening. Hopefully a new RB this year. I’ve got a horrid feeling Benitez will stick with Coleman so he doesn’t look like ex-RS manager comes in and bins off long-serving club captain.
Manquillo right back icing on the cake.Rondon to replace Richy & a big £50mil move for whichever Longstaff is crapper
Unfortunately this is the cakeManquillo right back icing on the cake.
That reminds me I've got to go to Asda later. ??So imagine that we loose Kean, Richy and James in the next few days - and get £100 mil (factoring in the £25 mil. the obligation to buy Kean). And looking at the players we have been linked with we might end up with:
- Saint-Maximine
- McNeil
- Maupay
- Patterson
- Jebbison
Would that not improve our squad or at least fill the gaps left by the three and give us more width?
Yet couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo playing in English football, some players are just used to less physical leagues
