I agree, but I'd put it differently. We're not interested in players because they have a "point to prove" - that's just a way of saying that there's serious question marks over them. It's more a question of character. I'd like to believe that Benitez wants players who will give everything they've got every time that they put on a blue shirt, and that Brands has put in the work assessing the character of all the players that we're in for.Benitez bolstering the squad with players with premier league experience, pace, and a point to prove. Far far better than us begging players who don’t really want to play for us to be here then giving them over 100k a week for the luxury of them turning out and pretending to run for us.
Crying right now.
he a young rbWhy?
Lookman off the Leicester, we dropped a clanger there. Always said it.
Crying right now.
Swear I put AMN, I have AML and ASM in my autocorrects so clearly I’ve mashed this phone keyboard beyond the English languageAinsley Maitland Niles. AMN.
Did we not try for him last season and there were complications over dual registration?he a young rb
AM - iNActually shouldn't it be AM-N?
I dont think youve ever watched him.So is Maitland-Niles. More pace, but that's it. Can't defend, can't cross, incredibly lightweight, wildly inconsistent.
He's Arsenal's Jonjoe Kenny.
Bet you were swearing when Sandro Ramirez scored then !!!Watched him yesterday as I was waiting for Barca on a bet, he was absolutely awful, dragged after an hour for Dest, who looked far better.
