Not expecting much now.
Our 1st 11 are a match for most teams but we need more quality from the bench. Not easy to bring in as you can't guarantee many minutes. This is where our youth policy should be aiming for instead of big wages for a lad that might play less than 500minutes first team minutes(ie josh king)
It's a real balancing act. We will be all here complaining next year if we are forking out 100k to bloody Rondon. Last day transfers which are not already lined up are ridiculous cause you usually end up getting fleeced.

Only thing is he must have known of them constraints when he joined, surely. If we’ve promised him loads then thrown this on him by surprise we truly will have acted horrendously.

Whether we agree with signing rondon he has been available all summer to try and get him in last minute smacks of desperation

Not really, they're getting that Japanese lad in.

He's made one apprarence for them this season, and that was in midfield. Not sure that Arteta even sees him as a fullback anyway. It's just a case of agreeing a deal that is acceptable for Arsenal, but they are like Poundland Daniel Levy's over there, see Nketiah- they don't want him, Palace were offering over 10M and now he's gonna leave for free.

How hard is it to understand that I’m talking about the club as a whole and that all these things you’re saying about changing managers and different managers are all included? You’re trying to talk down to me as if I’m the thick one when you don’t even understand the conversation. I didn’t miss gray I just listed the old players we signed to highlight that your talk of a clear plan of youngsters coming through is an utter joke imagine thinking signing a couple of kids and one 25 year old over the space of a few years is clear evidence of that sort of plan when you look at all the older players we’ve signed in the same period. We see it differently it’s fine but people like you who get on their high horse thinking you’re so much better because you’re happy with cheap signings get right on my last nerve.

You can't talk about being unhappy about transfers and talk about a plan but ignore that we have several managers in the last few years....Koeman brought to the club on the promise of money and buying players he wanted, same with Silva, same with Carlo, the majority of the players we have brought in have been at the behest of the manager, not the DOF. He keeps having to pick up the pieces from our Owners and I am not talking Kenwright here - keep wanting to interfere.

My frustration is that I agree with you I am not happy and in many ways you are right, but that's football, our Russian owner wants to play real-life football manager and the players I have picked out have been brands trying to rebalance the ship.

I am not happy with cheap signings, I want to be the new Chelsea, are owner is over 6 billion pounds richer than Roman - but we live in hope
