Ticket sales were (obviously) down till this season, COVID had a huge financial impact, our commercial deals are very average, no sleeve sponsor still, Moshiri - understandably - didn't inject another load of cash like he did last year, low PL bonus payment, no European revenue, increase in costs relating to stadium. Player trading is one slice of a large commercial pie of which our club is very shoddily run.

Maybe if you bought another scarf you can offset us not selling Rodriguez.

Aren't several of these factors not the result of what happens when your playing trading is terrible though? Our player trading is bad, so we finish tenth and lose out on premier league bonuses, meaning we miss out on European revenue, meaning we miss out on sponsorships due to the extra exposure and so on...

Our player trading is horrific and our turnover to wages ratio is staggeringly high. COVID aside (a problem every club has had to deal with), they are the root causes of our issues as far as I can tell and the majority of the blame for our predicament should be placed on those responsible for it.

Look, I'm not losing my head over it. My issue is I feel it sets a precedent of what is to come. There's one source, in my mind, of most of the info in that story.

if most of the information that youre concerned about relates to Brands, I don't think you can automatically assume Benitez is the source. No question bellend Paul Joyce likes BEnitez and doesn't like Everton, but that may be the sole reason why the article has been drafted in this way, nothing to do with Benitez

It was that in a nutshell mate. Dan put question marks to the tweet that Ped made so I replied as to what I thought he was on about, don't understand how that can be deemed defensive. I put bellend in my reply because Ped is a massive bellend.

I really like Baz from Toffee TV, especially with how he came across when they did that Sky fans thing with Neville and Keane but Ped is unbearable at times. They do a good match reaction if you have missed a match.
