Everton Summer transfers 2021

Itls crazy. They obvioulsy failed to register that they weren't dealing with the usual Everton of the last 5 years. Gerrard above all should have recognised we haven't got a pot to piss in and that the £5m bid was about as good as it was going to get.
I genuinely think any other club and they'd have accepted. Struck me Gerrard didn't want to sell to us.

If the quoted £10m was correct, that would become the highest fee they've ever received for a player. Absolute lunacy to turn that down for a player not currently first choice and who has only managed 7 games since signing in 2019.

They dont want to sell. Gerrard doesn't anyway.

The lad sounds petulant to me. And he's been in a bit of trouble. We are well clear of both him and Gerrard.

We'll sort the RB position out without having to revisit that situation.

If we do revisit it should be very much on our terms and for an incentivised/conditional offer.

But as you say, plenty of RBs around (someone should let Marcel know!)

Salomon Rondon says hi Joey. The 2 year deal we have just given him, with the option of a further year is almost identical to the one Ancelotti gave James, if the rumours are to be believed he is also on north of 90k per week, the only difference is the fact that one of them is a tremendously gifted player, who was signed by our former manager as a player he had previously employed and rated and the other one is Rondon.

The more things change the more they stay the same. If Rondon doesn’t work out this season or if Benitez gets sacked, we will find it very difficult to move Rondon considering the contract we have given him.
Rondon is a one year deal with the option for two years if need be, no worse than Josh King who signed in Carlo,s era & never got to start a game .....we have saved 60 million of wages one two year loan deal on Moise Kean....plus a right to buy clause ........for Juventus.....
We seem to have a merry go round, agents for players nowadays are making a fortune.......
If we buy someone for 30 million double it to 60 million to cover the players wages on contract......

Nice spreadhseet mate, where did it come from?

Heavy losses on the Walsh side.

Bolasie -£25 million
Schneiderlin -£22million
Walcott -£20 million
Williams -£12 million
Klassen -£11 million
Rameriz -£5 million

Lets be honest to be expected?

Sigurdson -£40 million
Tosun -£27 million

It's sickening to be honest and landed us where we are now.

Where did it say 27 million for Tosun, we only paid 19 million for him?

Walsh also wanted haaland, Robertson and maguire but was denied them. Klaassen etc all stink of koeman

Haven't people learned over the last 5 odd years that spending more money doesn't automatically generate success?

I'm personally excited to have made some signings who are playing for us because they want to, not just for a payday.

I think you’ll find it’s 2 years with a further years option Joey.

It's a 2 year deal with an option for a third confirmed by the club.

And then reportedly 100k a week with bonuses to take it to 120k a week. Not forgetting the signing on fee.
