Someone needs to rebrand 'Free Transfers' to 'Silly-Wage Transfers' or something so that fans stop imagining that they are bargains. You pay one way or the other.

For context, it was widely reported that Josh King was on £70k p/w with us. I'd expect Rondon to be on s comparable sum.We are not paying 100k on a back up Centre forward, I suppose it doesn't get much in the way of clicks if Rondon had come in at 45k plus bonus's for 2 years (Pretty sure DCL isn't on that amount too!)
At the time we bought him, most reports mentioned figures between £24m and £27m.Where did it say 27 million for Tosun, we only paid 19 million for him?
Arsenal spent £150m pal. Would you rather be in their position?Watford are our closest rivals in terms of spending they spent 16mil plus loan fees we spent 1.7 with no loans league1 clubs have spent more than us
The lack of communication from anyone in command at that club stinks to high heaven. No one has explained tthe situation this summer and they have a massive brass 'kin neck offering long suffering fans a transfer window where £1.8M was spent and one which AGAIN a right back wasn't brought in.
They love to send you emails about the latest 'kin tat they sell in the club shop and about how the stadium is creeping along, but notrhing about why we cratered that last window just gone.
That chugger CEO would go to the opening of an envelope and is forever firing off messages into our inboxes about sttuff...so we can expect from her a full explanation to fans who's cash has kept that club afloat long before Moshiri tipped up....cant we?
I'm sure he would. That doesn't mean the ship hasn't sailed from our end though. £8M isn't going to be acceptrd by rangers and Gerard wont sell to Everton. And Eveerton will be in a different place next summer.
Just about everything points away from any such deal.
By the way, why is it only Everton that's shown interest?
We were still pushing Diaz in the last 48 hours LONG after Richie was known to be staying, if he was ever actually goingI think we had some pennies from the window P/L difference of Bernard (immediate) and Gray (spread over several years) and offered £5mil for Patterson from that.
The £8mil, Rondon and AMN were just as/after Kean was on the way.
I think Cunha and Diaz were if Richarlison was leaving.
My guess is that we had £3/4mil in total to spend this summer and were leveraging over the next 4 or 5 years to take it higher
Kean is 2 years loan + permanent fee is spread over 3 years.
Glad you see Benitez signed the players he wanted...
Do we win a trophy?
He does do an annual report at the shareholders meeting. The communication from Brands has been basically non-existent since he took over. I'm not asking for a daily press conference, but a brief summary of the window on the club website in the next few days would be the least they could do.
As @Jebus_lives stated last night, £12M would represent a fee for a substitute who's started 7 games for Rangers equal to that clubs' highest ever fee clawed in.We matched the price requested 8m +4m in add-ons. They refused to engage after it.
He was quick enough after his forst window here when he thought he'd done well. The communication from Brands has been basically non-existent since he took over. lol lol lolGerrard isn't in charge of where a player moves to... if you weren't aware.

I have to say that I neither report my work activities to the rest of the world, nor the company strategy - as to do so would put our company at a competitive disadvantage. Please don't let your desire for information get in the way of business sense.
