Looking out for yourself in a culture that will toss you aside isn't petulant. Players owe nothing to anyone because clubs and managers will almost never return the favor. They will do what they need to for their goals and players shouldn't be expected to toss their own personal goals aside at the same time.
Yeah but you hate Everton more than any Kopite I know.

Huh? Maybe I missed him crying about not getting games and then leaving to go to Germany where he got sent out again only to get relegated cos he was utter pony.

According to Wiki he plays for Inter Milan and is about to win the league.
As much as I like Rom it is fair to say his last 6 months as he tried to force his way out were a tad unsavory

Nar man, ive got no issue with people not wanting to finish 7th with us, if your name rings out, you want it ringing out on the highest stage.

And all joking apart, if the boy feels as tho hes not gonna get a chance here, then sure hes gotta do whats best for himself.

lol

It's tough to see Small looking at Nkounkou's season and thinking it bodes well for him coming through.

That's not exactly what I meant.

But still, he is here now so we should strive to make the best out of it and my biggest issue remains I don't think we are
Yes he was a panic signing when we couldn't get Zaha what we need is a wide forward/winger who can cross a ball, he isn't quite that he plays more inside and on the left, he has mainly played on the right for us and yes that isn't his natural position, he still even had an ok run earlier this season. But it's a two-way street he needs to produce more to be moved into more of a pivotal role. As it is he has been very disappointing and largely ineffectual he has some good attributes like running with the ball at times and the odd through pass but doesn't produce enough for a player in that position. Look at his assists and goals record. He might be alright in another team where he can play centrally but he lacks dynamism and cutting edge for a player we paid a good few for. And worse he appears to think he is better than he is. Bernard has shown more cutting edge and we need better than him too. And you did defend him you went to battle for a lad that to borrow your phrase doesn't care about you or the club.

The fact that Godfrey is just kind of average.

That's the thing I don't even think he is bad, just funny to me that there are "Euros" and "world class" shouts about a player that isn't definitely better than Keane and Mina. Or even Holgate tbh.
He has played what nearly two seasons in the epl and he is already better than Holgate and will be better than Keane and Mina. Kid is immense and he is a kid in CB terms.

Weirdly Zaha isn't really good at creating either. Our business always confounds me. I agree with a lot of that though. It's just hard to be better at something you aren't good at sometimes.

The Moise Kean transfer saga is set to reach its culmination this summer. PSG want him more than anybody and the Italian striker is happy in Paris. The Ligue 1 giants will have to negotiate with Everton at the end of the season as the loan deal has no option to buy clause.

Several reports have been flying around indicating how PSG are approaching this deal. Initially, there were rumours of another loan deal with an option to buy. Later Fabrizio Romano said the Toffees will ask for £60 million for Kean. The striker’s stock has surely skyrocketed after his exploits in Paris this season and if things are handled well, Everton may pocket a handsome profit on the player who arrived at Goodison Park for €27.5 million plus €2.5 million in add-ons.

The Parisiens are not only interested party. Andrea Pirlo and Juventus remain determined to bring Kean back to Turin but chances are really slim as Kean is enjoying life in Paris. Mauricio Pochettino trusts him and includes him in the project, maybe even ahead of Mauro Icardi. In fact, when Juventus asked about Kean to his agent, Mino Raiola, the Kean entourage has conveyed that his wish is to continue with PSG beyond this season.

Everton will not be able to keep hold of the striker and will have to look in the market for a replacement or sign Joshua King permanently. Sadly, the electric form of Kean is not something that Everton fans resonate with a lot. Surely, the enthusiasts follow him at PSG but the 21-year-old didn’t produce anything close to what he is producing at Parc des Princes.

TRENDING: Everton March loan report
When he arrived from Turin, the amount of talent and potential he had at such an infant stage in his professional career surely left supporters flabbergasted. One year later, fans are shocked but for the wrong reasons. He simply couldn’t settle in Merseyside and be an attacking outlet for the team whenever he was presented with a chance.

Now watching him light up the Ligue 1 often poses the question of what went wrong at Goodison Park. PSG are in line to reap the benefits and potentially have a top-quality player who can perform for years if Kean continues his development at such a staggering rate. But, before that, the Ligue 1 giants need to ensure that the striker does end up in Paris for next season.

£60m? Marcel deserves a statue if he gets £50m+.
