For me the keep / sell thing is invalid, Carlo knew about the lad, speaks his lingo etc. and saw nothing in him to persuade him to fight to hold onto him? That does not necessarily mean Carlo doesnt like to rate him, maybe it simply means that Kean’s style is not suited to the team that we have? Remember HK selling Lineker, he scored a shedload of goals but we won no trophy? Howard said the team set up had to change too much to accommodate Gary’s style, and while that change was to Gary’s benefit, it was to the detriment of the team as a whole. Perhaps that is what Carlo has decided?
