Everton Summer transfers 2021

If we are selling one we sell Richarlison and build the team around DCL for me. Richy would fetch more abroad and he is quite selfish he is all about scoring if he doesn't he does a sulk. Plus I can see him wanting out. Dom would probably give us a few more seasons as he is central to us. We then recruit in pace on the wings/forward, another dominant midfielder and a right back.

Still think 4 starters in like last summer will make a huge difference to our 11 and then the inevitable injuries will affect us less.
If we had a quality CM alongside Doucs and Allan, when Allans hammy goes again we would have one of Tom/Gbamin/Sig/Gomes rather than three of them crawling around.
Likewise, when James is struggling, a proper RW means his like for like would be Sig, and we can carry his lack of mobility with a strong 3 behind and strength both wings. The new RB will balance us out going forward instead of it being so disjointed.
Im hoping theyre already in negotiations and aim to get agreements in place before the Euros.

We need winners that's what we need
Winners you say...

hello buddies i come to wish u a good day suggesting players everton will not sign as u fix all everton problems in ur tiny unwashed heads.

We need a couple of absolutely amazing signings from lower profile leagues or clubs. I always think of Kompany and Zabaleta at City. Cost about 15m for both and went on to be stalwarts and leaders for years.
There are some really good signings to be had in the championship at the moment imo but id be surprised if we look down there.

Honestly, this window really needs the younger players with a ton of pace and energy. And the simple ability to pass the ball to a teammate which, somehow, our players who are making millions a year cannot do. We don't need to parrot the whole "Ancelotti has the pull to get players in" and we target Rabiot. Get the absolute top players in the Championship or whatnot who see Everton as a step up and a good one at that. Don't even care if they see us as a stepping stone, only way they get their desired move is to perform here.

Buy Brentford's scouts.

Genuinely not even sure what our scouts look for as our players can't seem to dribble, pass, retain possession, run with pace, score from outside the 6 yard box.

Do we still have Nuno in Portugal? Have we EVER bought a player from Portugal?

From what I can tell, our scouting system doesn't extend past 'players Ancelotti has previously managed'

GK: Olsen
RB: Kenny / Coleman
CB: Keane / Mina
CM: Delph / Gomes / Sigurdsson / Gomes
FW: King / Bernard / Tosun / Iwobi
I would argue that James and Sigurdsson are very likely playing for the same position and given Gylfi's game time and contribution (4 goals/4 assists) play Carlo wanting him to sign a new deal.

Coleman - also has enough to play as support to a new right back.

Gomes - so poor you named him twice, is for me very much a square peg in the team. Last night he showed good signs when he set Richarlison through before he went off injured. Again similar to Coleman, he has played ok but we could instantly buy someone who does his role far better.

Keane/Mina - I'd put Holgate over either one of these two. As a defensive two, they have been our best pairing all season and I feel Godfrey and Branthwaite would be better suited as a partner to either or.

Iwobi - Not a lot you can say apart from not the best buy Brand made. Showed glimpses this season but he has played largely left wing for Arsenal then we moved to right wing for us. Another square peg.

Bernard - Same as Iwobi, just doesn't fit the narrative under Carlo. Rumours of him leaving in January but he'll hopefully move this summer.

Olsen/King - Loans who are just not good enough.

Kenny/Tosun - Out on loan. Kenny has played all 9 games he has been available so a good from a sale point of view but Tosun is just Tosun, expect another loan we pay for.
