So you think Shearer scores the same percentage of shots from 25 yards as 6 yards?

I may have overestimated things...
There are his stats
A lot of penalties ,a lot of headers a lot of right footed shots and only one tap in
95/96 he had 7 goals from outside the box

Id say Godfrey has been our best centre back in most of the games hes played there...

I didn't say he hadn't.

You people are crazy with this player. Motm at Anfield yeah?

He defo hasn't.

It really, really isn't when basically every game he has some kind of lapse.

Yeah I wouldn't have said so either. I just felt like I was going to get loads of grief for saying he hasn't been Baresi MKII and I couldn't be doing with it.

You know Zat, his views never have any tether with reality.

Absolutely nowhere near that.....yet.

Found this in the Godfrey thread, thanks Goat...

He looks like being the best defender against a dribble thats for sure.

Nice to see Mina get a mention in the comments as well...

Buendia. Now. Empty your pockets Moshiri, he's the next James Maddison, but better. He's Argentinean so he's obviously the next Diego Maradona as well, he will lift the Champions league with us as the top scorer and assist man, please get him.
I'd take him but not sure where he would choose when the likes of Arsenal and Spurs sniffing around him

well Rangers got that part right
Rodgers would not fit any of those categories and did well
Lennon fits all 3 and failed

Celtic fans loved Lennon didn’t they? Over two spells there he won loads, wouldn’t call him a failure. Personality-wise he’s possibly the most fitting Celtic manager to ever exist.

Everton are reportedly interested in raiding Carlo Ancelotti’s former side Juventus to sign Paulo Dybala, but face competition from North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal – and Toffees fans have reacted on Twitter to the news.

Dybala, 27, is struggling to get into the Juventus side on a regular basis under Andrea Pirlo this season – with the Juve manager preferring to use the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata in the final third. Dybala has been afforded just 17 games.

He did score last time out but only after coming on as a substitute, netting a winner in a 2-1 win over Napoli. Transfer Market Web claim Everton are interested in signing Dybala, joining Spurs and Arsenal in the race to sign the Argentina international.

It is likely to cost Everton quite a considerable figure, even if his contract ends at the end of next season. Spanish newspaper Marca say Juventus rate the former Palermo man at £47million, while his wages are also expected to be enormous.

Everton fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that their club are battling London sides Tottenham and Arsenal in the race to sign Dybala – and many think he would be a great signing for the Merseyside club, even if it is unlikely.

Toney at Brentford is excellent

Considering this forum is raving over Norwich's Buendia however he is likely to cost around £40m IF Norwich sell so look at Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo

He has been in excellent form for two seasons now (86 apps - 20 goals/20 assists). 21 years old and available cheaper than £40m.

Brentford are one of those teams I trust to sign good players so I'm interested

Sorry about posting about Buendia again and I'm going to bring out stats:

Emiliano Buednia
Age: 24 Position: Right attacking midfielder

Market price: £19.80 million
Price willing to sell: Around £40 Million (Brands do your thing).

- 33 apps
- 2849 minutes played.

- 12 goals
- 15 assists

- Key passes per game: 3.4 (One of the worlds best, yes I do know it's in the championship. Better than Fernandes and same as Grealish).

- Gets fouled twice a game

- Long balls per game: 3.8

- Pass %: 78.7 (Quite low, might be because of risky balls he plays and long passes and though balls).

- Dribbled per game: 1.8 (About the same as Iwobi, 1.7)

- The best stats in the championship for as long as I researched, 3 years lol. Counting g/a per 90 and key passes per 90.

- Also buying proven top class championship players is low risk, villa have done it for Watkins, west ham for Benrahma. Leicester for Maddison, and he has better stats than all of them by a lot.

-Bad discipline, sent off a few times, picks up lots of yellows.

If we finish above them and in Europe, and they aren’t, w might have a chance, but we aren’t linked to him so who knows.
True. The Arse are keen apparently. Bailey seems to be the one we are looking at we shall see.
