Tosun injury has probably shafted us again from any sale. As has the injury to Onyango if we were thinking of moving him on to a championship club. The Gbamin and Delph injuries are probably forcing us into another purchase also.
I’d sell Davies Bernard Kenny Kean (not much option) Walcott Keane Mina Siggurdson (if anyone would take him) Gomes (same) and then literally build from what’s left.
Bring back Branthwaite and Gibson. Keep the better one and sell the other. Put him with Godfrey and Holgate plus a new addition as the CBs.
New RB as first choice with Coleman backup , Digne and Nkonkou/Small left backs.
Allan Docuoure Gbamin plus three new centre mids.
Richarlison DCL James two new wide players plus Simms return on loan.
That makes a CB, a RB, three midfielders, two wide players, and a striker probably just to get competitive. If we were serious there’d be a new goalkeeper also.
What will happen instead though is we will buy a right back and a new midfielder, they’ll both immediately get injured, and we’ll be straight back to playing the same old failures who have dogged us for years.
