No one has said that.

What i said was...

A: If we sign him for £20mil and he flops.

B: Next season hes 24 and has been a sporting squad player and a flop at Everton.

How do we get 50%+ of our money back ?

Hes not 27 or 28 with alot more first team experience to sell someone on.

Hes not u21 like Neto was so we cant sell his potential.

How do we get our money back?

Its a risky signing. Thats all ive said.

Its £15 million mate, and I think at that fee he is very much worth that risk.

Yeah we need mobility but id say we need a DM rather than this chap...

I also dont think. Mario is any good but you make a fair point.

Tbh if were getting someone from Sporting id want Amorim.

Rather pay €20mil for him then back him.

All true. I reckon Philips is £60mil and Rice £80mil...£40mil no chance.

Meanwhile Kamara at Marseille....Guimaraes at Lyon...

Everything about you disgusts me.

Goodbye.
You want Kamara from Marseille, Marcel will give you Kamara from Rangers!!

Just a couple of points though mate. Firstly Sporting are better than Everton currently, so their Tom Davies is probably better than our Tom Davies. Secondly he looks to excel in mobility compared to Davies (who appears a better passer). So he kind of gives us more of what we require in the midfield.

I remember going to one of those evening with an ex-player things, it was John Giles, he said the best bit of development advice, coaching and skill he developed coming through under Busby at Man U, was the skill and ability as a central midfield to turn on the ball - by that i mean facing your goal, under pressure and being able to turn with the ball and face the opposing goal, without laying it of. Its so true and if you actually look out for it so many central midfield players cant to do it, a lot of our own. He said Jimmy Murphy used to really focus on it and drum it into them.

If you look at the best midfielders out there they can all to it, its one of the things i look at when judging a central midfielder, i remember on here many slating Fellaini and Arteta, i always backed them because they could turn on the ball and i knew they would be fine.

The few clips I've seen of that Brazilian lad at Sporting he looks to have it.

Watch clips of Jorginho, he's absolutely fantastic at doing this
