Everton Summer transfers 2021

I would be happy to see him come back and try to establish himself but I think he has no interest in that.

When the season in France finished he publicly told the PSG followers he hoped to be back next season. That is an unusual thing to do for a loan player.

Well then you spin it in our favour. Tell them you want a bid by the start of pre season or hes staying.

You then sit the lad down and tell him that they obviously don't want him or they'd of put a bid in for him but hes in the new managers plans and if at the end of the season he still wants to leave and a acceptable bid comes in they will sell him.

20 years old scoring 16 goals in 27 starts for psg if he was at any other club in the world he'd of been £50m but everton are a soft touch and psg know it. We'll end up selling for what we paid for him probably £25m even though we only got him that cheap becausehe was runningdown his contract.

I'm most worried about 'the new manager needs time to assess the squad so there will be no major buys this season'...
I'm most worried the next line on the squad will be "everyone starts with a clean sheet, and everyone has a chance to stake a claim for a place"!

There's way too much dross that still needs shifting!

Looking at Benitezs ability to waste money on rubbish, they both sound very believable. Let's not forget he nearly bankrupted Liverpool in the process of leaving them 8th in the league.
For all intents and purposes, seems Benitez believes that he's been hamstrung for cash at pretty much everywhere he's been, including the reds.

The most he spent on a single player at Liverpool was Torres and he was a cracking player for them.

Suppose on the flipside to that though, he brought Koulibaly to Napoli and never really gave him a run in the side whilst he was there. It was only really went he left that Koulibaly got his opportunity and kicked on.

Did Benitez sign any top wingers for the RS?
From memory it was a bit of a mixed bag. Signed Kuyt and Garcia who were good. then the likes of Bellamy, Babel, Pennant and that. Cant remember if he signed Maxi Rodriguez or not. Only Bellamy had any pace out of all those as well. Nothing outstanding and certainly didn't buy a decent winger at Newcastle

RB shouldn't be dictating who we sign. It's clear what we need I would have hoped Brands told him the last of targets when he had discussions.

I think we can get Dumfries, he has fallen under the radar & apparently PSV owe Brands a couple favours. Plus they already spoke prior to the Euros.
It would still be a big step up for him and he would be a guaranteed starter at a PL that's attractive to a player in Holland.

Sorry haters but Salomon Rondon is better player off the bench than Moise Kean or Josh King were. Knows the league, big body target man who knows where the net is. On a free. This Rafael character is one Artem Dzyuba approach away from winning me over.

I will not however be defending the dreadful Merih Demiral

Dumfries, Nunes, Bailey
Romero as back up keeper
We need another striker too

If one either or both Sig/James go we would need another creative player.
