Fair enough, but it is just a belief you do not have any evidence to back this up, in fact the evidence points to the exact opposite.
I was clearly talking about Evertonians that are both fair and have minds. No offence to Evertonians without minds was intended, so sorry if you took it that way.

I've not read any of this thread but it seems to me, this takeover rumour has a little more 'meat on the bone' so to speak. For Mcnulty to put his head above the parapet and put a piece on the main BBC sport website says that he believes the info he has been given. Its unusual for him to be quite so forthcoming.

The Evertonian in me, makes me highly skeptical but i do feel this might have some legs to it.

really?

The valuation of Kenwright's shares in Everton has grown significantly in recent years. He and his family deserve to benefit from that just like anyone else who makes a risky investment
He bought the shares so cheap it was never a risk, and hasn't risked one penny since into Everton. Every extra £50M/£100M Kenwright sharks in profit on the club is £50M/£100M that the next buyer is unlikely to commit to ploughing into growing the club.

Hopefully the purchasers once they have access to the financial records of the club will open them up to the public domain at the same time as announcing his lifetime ban from Goodison Park.

Don't want to get anyone's hopes up that there may be something afoot, but just had a look on Companies House and some tidying up of the Company's paperwork in respect of charges took place today.
There are now only 5 charges against Everton Football Club Limited :
J G Funding Ltd TV deal
2xBarclay's -floating charge on assets and right of offset for monies held in bank accounts
Prudential - re income mortgage
Everton Investments Limited -re income mortgage.

5 were satisfied today.

My take for what it's worth is that either they have been really slack in the past and just forgot to get them discharged or, just possibly, they are tidying things up in readiness for due dilligence

That's a disgraceful thing to say. Like him or loath him, Bill has earned his place in the history of our club........

Looking on companies house, it's interesting to note that 4 of the 5 loans paid off today were 10+ years old. Definitely seems like the club were attempting to tidy up the accounts.
