Everton Transfer Thread 2016

No it's not a myth, but it's actually no where near some of the figures that's been touted - as in, the TV money will factor in little for our transfer business.

I would be interested to know how that conclusion is reached? IIRC, the last TV deal saw us bring in around an extra 90 million over 3 years (circa 30 million per year) and that's what has allowed our significant outlay on new players in recent years. Other clubs have experienced similar increases in money, and the Premier League has been awash with money.

Now whilst that money can no longer be classed as additional in the sense that it has become the norm over the last few seasons, clubs are still receiving that level of money each year. This latest new TV deal is even bigger than the last one, 71% bigger, and clubs will start receiving this additional money at different times throughout next season, with the first tranche coming some time during this August I believe?

The amount of TV money received by clubs over the next few years is going to be bigger than ever, and it will be the main driver behind what is likely to be a crazy summer of transfers with massive levels of expenditure throughout the Premier League.

Mate you're hitting Zat levels with these Godin shouts lay off the sauce tonight lad

He's quite the opposite that i would go for. At 30 and with his standing and club side he would cost a fortune and we dont know if he would adapt to english football then hes stuck on massive wages with us doing a Winston Bogarde.

I would like Koulibaly from Napoli or Manolas from Roma...both about 30mil and really could take our defence to the next level.

People might laugh at this but Koeman does like to have a classic number 9 in the team with good link up and aerial play.

I don't see it happening tbf but as a style of player I think he'd fit well.

He's got such a punchable face though.

Vincent Janssen is that player....very good all rounder and can finish...i called him the new Ruud Van Nistelrooy and i didnt know at the time but thats what the dutch media call him.

Id also go for Milik as while i dont particularly rate him he would be a good player to have to rotate.

I disagree we already have Stones and Funes Mori we just need a battler in there to bring Stones and Mori to the next level. I agree it would take a big fee and yes his head would have to be right.

I name Koulibaly and Manolas but you disagree and say you want a battler?

Those 2 would eat someone like Shawcross.
