I meant three at the back, too often you see stones and jags looking at each other like who'll sort it out and with two deep mids do we need teo cbs

throw a decent sweeper keeper in there (like robles has the potential to become) to compress the midfield and we should be tight enough

Don't think i've ever seen a team play with only one CB with a 3 at the back mate! It's usually 3 centre backs!

Massive money transfer mate for his club as well and for himself mate - and don't blame him - at the time a fair few very good players moved to Russia, meanwhilst a lot of that Belgium generation spent 2-3 years parked on the bench of big teams or shipped off by them on loans etc, at leats this lad moved - played and won things and got to play a lot of CL matches with a pretty good Zenit side

Sure, still a concern having not played in a big league.

When (not if) we sell Stones Koeman will have to buy 2 CBs who, you know, defend to give us four experienced players at that position. He may decide one of Galloway or Pennington is ready but the evidence is hardly conclusive on that.

As for Lukaku, will anyone want him?! Conte surely won't after that close up audition Maybe he'll come off the bench to rescue Belgium next match and PSG will just randomly spunk money on him for a laugh. If he does go we need 3 strikers as we cannot rely on Kone and Niasse.

Suddenly that £100m + sales doesn't look so extravagant, and that is before thinking GK, CM, #10 etc.

I still think McC is a most in our midfield, and will develope into one hell of a player - hopefully RK will provide him with the coaching needed
