So we have already seen the squad depleted with the departures of Howard, Pienaar, Hibbo and Osman. Surely there is a need to clean up the Mcgeady and Kone disasters. Niasse should stay for at least another season - it was a lot of money and right now it would be really bad business to sell him. Koeman(s) might be able to get something out of him. Gibbo's contract was a surprise but Barry and Jags are no Benjamin Buttons and Bainesy is heading that way....
Should Lukaku (likely), mirralas and Stones (less likely) go we are looking at how many replacements to bring in? We have a bunch of talented kids plus robles, coleman, baines, oviedo, funes mori, mccarthy, cleverly, barkley, besic, deulofeu, Lennon, Gibbo, who have at least a season in the prem under their belts... thats 12 or 14 with Jags and Barry. With 3-4 youngsters getting a chance this season we probably need about 6 -7 signings. suddenly 100M is not enough, even if adding money from sales.

If, as mentioned, we go for a CM (Strootman, Witsel linked) then I hope it's someone who can really push and organise everyone around them on, more than being a superior playmaker. Barkley, Jags, Barry, Baines are all too silent for the role they have in our squad. Need more vocal players who can get the team moving. An on-field general so to speak.
