Obviously but Italian league is a farce, darren is buying into the juve /big club enigma that someone is good because they play for a big club, some players at Juve, Bayern, psg/who start regularly wouldn't even get into teams like southampton/spurs/efc/west ham/lfc

Hiquain scored 36 in that league some of the defending is laughable think that was highest total in europe... Italian league is dreadful

only one that hit over 20. next best was Dybala on 19 playing for Juventus. 3rd highest was bacca on 18 playing for Milan. 4th highest was icardi on 16 playing for Inter.

an the original point was about Morata only scoring around 6. He was often played on the left or as a number 10. Juventus used Dybala and Mandzukic as the main strikers

We need a monster signing for top wages - NEA what we pay whoever it is we go for, but we need a signing to get the club inspired.

I would say start with the marquee signing, and then anyone else we target would be able to see the level we're aiming for and hopefully want to get on board.

We don't need to splash big money at players like Laca for 40 mil

and Morata if we could even get him would probably another 40 real madrid have a £24 mil buy back clause and looks like they are reluctant to even to activate it..........



We have money although some 'itks' said 100 mil maybe low balling the is no need to waste money on players that won't be able to produce the goods, IMO i feel we need 3 strikers as Kone / Niasse are not up for it and if Rom goes we need another striker to have 4 ( ron koeman plays 2 strikers and we need competition)


so if i was to buy 3 strikers that are quality


: Shane Long ( works so hard, can score goals and has something we are lacking passion... would work well in a two with a top goal scorer eg lukaku as he would do the running for him and is quality ) would be around 18 mil


Milik around 13 mil (rate him very highly although Janssen has more goals Milik brings more into the game and gets alot of assists another one to play in a two with and has a great left foot that catches people off guard)


Carols Bacca would be the big signing i go for his record is great across Spain//Belgium and italy

would be 20-25 mil but would be worth paying




them 3 are much safer options than blowing 40 mil ' cuz we can'
