If we sign Mata and someone fumes, can we please remind them that it wasn't long ago that we were signing relegated players such as McCarthy, Robles and Antolin.
Signing Mata would be a huge statement as he is a top player in his prime.

IF these types of transfers come off though be very interesting who will be shipped off out

Strootman, Witsel and Mata - one thing from those three names can be seen - Komean REALLY doesn't rate our centre midfield at all

Cleverley, Barry, McCarthy all on borrowed time
can see both Mirallas and Lennon being in trouble as well depending on this summer

all 5 of those earn good money, and all bar Barry would give us a sizeable profit should be sell them over what we paid, both of which things would help with meeting the FPP regulations

You've got to admit Williams would undoubtedly be an upgrade on Stones. And Lukaku has shown time and time again that he will only score when goals are handed to him on a plate, he is a liability otherwise, barely anything other than finishing to his game. There are about a million strikers out there we can get that would be better than Lukaku.

To be fair, he saw his Southampton midfield absolutely walk past them all afternoon not too long ago, plus McCarthy is currently stinking the place out at the Euros

Personally I think that Koeman will like Mirallas but won't stand for his sulking and cry arsing. Think he'll provide the kick up the backside for him that he desperately needs.
