Spot on, plus one thing we need to really look at is i don't think Koeman is short on ambition he will be trying to build a team (free from europe) that can do serious damage in the league this year, and one that should it do so, is already close to being able to handle the extra europeamn games that would follow in the season after
Strootman for example - if he went for him - i think he'd want to measure out his game time - in his first season back after so long out - so don't think he'd be playing 45 games or even close to that, would be a player that he planned to rotate and rest a fair bit, so can see why Witsel/Schneiderlein and Strootman - any two of those could be added without oveloadign the centre mid

Joking aside mate, if we brought in two of the targets we have been getting linked with, you reckon that Besic would still have a role, part of me thinks he is a cracking player but needs to get a run of games injury free to have a chance, Martinez certainly did him no favours with the coaching staff and the way he handled him...

He strikes me as a player Koeman would like tho, hard working, knows how to press, but yes, he needs to avoid injury and shine in training and take his chance when it comes.
Pivotal season for the boy I feel, make or break, hes got the talent, hopefully he shows it at the right times.
