What do you mean, "At Club Level", mate?

And whilst I am sure buying players from Athletico is unrealistic - I agree with you - there are players out there who would have been unrealistic a year ago that we may now go out and get.

William Carvalho would be a great one, for example.
Dries Mertens another.

Mertens, seriously? Swerve. Average players and definitely not a marquee signing/statement. Find it mental he still gets in Belgium's team.

Any news on DOF? looks concerning that transfer window is open on friday and prem window is already open and we have no incline to anything,

Top4 is a pipe dream at the moment, the state Bobby left us in we are miles behind where we should be, we will be lucky to get top6 next year, will be faster than blue bill and co but will still take time for Moshiri to build us to that level possibly 2-3 seasons.

Leicester where happy to come 4th bottom last season. They managed that. And then some.
The Euros are showing how the gap is narrowing at all levels. You just need a solid foundation, tactics and a team that believe in each other.
at least 2 of those things were abscent last season for us.

I'm hoping his marquee signing came third in the Copa America

James would be a big gamble, was bought after a good few games vs poor players in world cup, couldn't hack it in spanish league was benched regularly by a kid isco, I would love him but not sure if he would join us.

Yes if they would not of joined chelsea and city their agent would of moved them to another club

Mate, Robben turned down a move to United to move to Chelsea

I'll buy your Robinho example, sort of, as I think Madrid were happy to see him go, but Robben was just starting out and Chelsea was his first big move. He then went to Real Madrid and then Bayern Munich FFS - that's a proper mental example

I think it's likely though that Robben had a choice of clubs to go to, went to City I would imagine because of the money and because he would be the star man.

there is no difference in that to what we are offering.
