Isn't their other one Fonte? - think he's 32/33 already though

To be fair a lot of us were skeptical about VVD being as effective over here but have all looked a bit red faced. Would cost a bomb but we can afford it.

I'm almost feverish in excitement about visiting the vaults if we sign him

Pep will like Denayer so not really worth pursuing I don't think. Looked suspect against Wales but overall he's highly rated.

He's got a good body of work to commend him and, as others have mentioned, big name coaches like the cut of his jib

I saw him for the year he was on loan at Celtic and he was impressive (All be it at a lower level)

rather we paid what itd cost for VVD now mate really, shown he can do it in the league - and do very well and knows Koemans system etc, only young and would make losing stones a hell of a lot more palatable really

Mori still being a work in progres and jagielka getting older, really think we need to go for someone very reliable back there - wouldnt mind getting blind in as well to cover all across the back
