I'd also have Begovic at the club

A "thrilling" Goalkeeper acquisition would be someone like Forster/Butland/Courtois/Lloris/Neuer etc

We're not getting any of them, so someone who is a solid PL Quality Keeper will do, which is what Heaton is (And also what Begovic is)

Again, I'm not getting excited over it, but it's an improvement over what we have at least

They tend to be of the match-fixing corrupt variety (Hans Segers, Bruce Grobelaar) or borderline mad (John Burridge, Jimmy Rimmer etc)

Really hope that even if we bring in this Uruguayan lad that we still go after Milik. Been very impressed with him during the Euros.

Is janssen that rated though? HE has had what, one good season and suddenly he is flavour of the month, in a league that has generated strikers who have been flops elsewhere.

I would argue a uruguayan playing in france is more likely to be a success than a striker from the dutch league who is off the back of one good year.
