Any moderately decent player is costing 20M plus now it seems, the game is ridiculous.

As other people have wrote previously, having loads to spend at a time everybody else has.....Everton that!

It looks like it's going to be more competitive than ever next year, couldn't even begin to predict the top 4 as I reckon clubs that have been a shoe in to get a top 4 place for years may not have it as easy again.

Daley Blind has never, nor will ever play RB in his life. I'd say it's more likely he maybe spent some time as a youth player as a striker.

David Unsworth played LB, CB, CM and LM for us, started off upfront... similar to Blind, never spent 1min of training or in his professional career as a RB! We do not need LB cover either. We have 3 better CB's, 2 better LB's, 5 better CM's. Worst shout ever this!

But as for 2 better lb's - who exactly - Baines is yeah no doubt about it, but ovideo - don't be silly, as for Garbutt mate, he stank the joint out in and has played a handful of games in the league he looked decent in.

3 better cb's? - nope, he's about level with 2 of them - without the errors, only jagielka is a better out and out defender than him, and his one weak part is being small for a cb - but are tall cb's can't win a bloody header anyways

5 better cm's - just laughing at that though, who exactly are they? Besic is always injured, Cleverley is absolutely awful in the middle, Gibson - eh yeah, those 3 games a season he is available are impressive, Barry is 35 soon and McCarthy has been crap for two years

Understand that we tend to overate our own like, but what your saying is absolutely absurd

Thats the entire point of a high quality squad player though mate, how many games over the season will Baines, Jagielka and Mori miss through injury or suspension, if we do sign say a top class defensive mid and a top class cb to replace stones - then how many games will they miss through knocks, suspension as well. and he provides a decent level of competition for all 3 positions.
