It looks like we aren't doing much because we are waiting for the DOF to be appointed and we still think we are getting this Monchi fella.

We could end up leaving it too late.

Really hope we land this DOF soon as it will increase our chances of getting our transfer targets over the line and help identify new ones.

It means it was all over the media that we would be spending a net 100m and that Moshiri has huge plans for the club. If you buy something that has been advertised wrongly you would be rightly pissed of.

Can you post a link to where this "advertising" was on the official Everton website?

You may take the view that you support the club come what may and that's admirable and I'm sure you buy your season ticket every year no matter what but it's clear not everyone thinks the same.

You're quoting 'media' mate...respectfully, can't actually recall the club saying they're gonna spend 100 million (or whatever), it has been stated there's money available, yes....and therein lies the rub because they're two totally different things...having & spending.

Moshiri DOES have huge plans for the club, he wouldn't be here if he didn't, you'd do well to remember that m'friend...

Yes, there's been an ST increase...which is brilliant. But perhaps this is based on a progressive move forward/price staying the same/a new hope for the future/ a BOSS new regime as opposed to...y'know, an instant hit/trophy and signing RONALDO.

I don't think everyone does take everything he says as gospel mate. I don't.

It's healthy to have a degree of skepticism on a football forum.

Some people lie. Some people exaggerate what they know but above all - things change in football - a certainty last night is a never happening the next morning. I've worked in the industry.

I can't remember anyone calling anything on here before it's in national papers somewhere anyway. Moshiri a classic example, right up to the recency of Everton renaming their stands. The first I heard of the latter was a press release from EFC in my email...

We have to give credit to Everton for that.

Personally, If I ever thought I knew something - I'd keep schtum, and have ever since odjidja ofoe because the football ITK nonsense is not worth the aggro.

Ultimately, believe what you believe.

Oh and by the way, I have two sources that confirmed Esk is full of [Poor language removed] but for confidentially reasons I can't tell you what those sources are. If it turns out that he is telling the truth, the information sourced must have been wrong, so don't blame me. I just pass on what I receive.

It is fake ITK 101. Make up information based on media reports. Say you have sources. Post ambiguous things (i.e. we will make a signing on Friday but not mentioning which signing). Blame the sources when those things don't come off.

One day everyone will realise that the guy has been having you on all along. If he was posting negative ITK details you wouldn't believe a word of it.

Not me but there's a reason why season tickets sales have hit an all time record and it's not down to the fantastic football that was witnessed at Goodison last season.

It's up to you to judge why people spend their money. It's their money and they have spent it expecting money to have been spent this window.

There's a reason that we put our Season tickets out earlier than nearly every other PL club. Its because historically we don't do much exciting business in the summer to enable people to get excited about coming to the old lady every week to see. We strike whilst the iron is hot and excitement is fever pitch.

IIRC the earliest we ever had them out is the last time we finished 5th and were in the CL race until quite late in the season.

Regardless my point was that the club didn't come out with the statement "buy a ST and we promise marquee signings" did they? Fans purchasing one solely under that premise aren't really fans.
