We were linked before the injury tbf. The only issue is Leeds are selling him to the highest bidder this window which means we don't get involved.

His contract is running down but as he is only 22 is will go to a tribunal if they let him run it down completely so in many ways they can play hardball with any fee they ask for, honestly never seen the lad play but by reports he isn't exactly someone we should be crying over if we miss out, for my view we have the likes of Kenny who maybe deserve a chance to see if they can cut it right now at this level, FA cup game is a perfect chance to give him a run out and see how he's developed

......be good to see a youngster get a chance in the cup but I'm not sure if Kenny will be seen as the next cab on the rank, I think we have a couple in that position.

Think Kenny is the captain of the under 21's now mate and as I've said on another thread Wigan wanted to extend his loan and we recalled him, so we must have high regard for his future, rather see us playing a young natural rb there than a young natural cb

I wouldn't say crying over if we lost out, but he's a fantastic player mate. Being from Yorkshire and not at all a Leeds fan, I've got no bias in their favour whatsoever (tbh I find the situation their in to be hilarious!), but they have got some really promising prospects.

Byram is the most developed and has everything that we would look for in a full back. His defensive side isn't quite there yet but he's 22. Going forward is a different matter - he's got it all. Pace, strength and power, the ability to deliver a pin-point cross etc. Think he has the potential into developing into some player, and I think that will depend largely on where he decides to go. I can see him beings napped up by, for example, Norwich or West Brom. No disrespect to those two clubs, but it's highly likely that they'll be involved in a relegation scrap. Byram needs to be at a club that can get the best out of him, and hopefully challenge for Europe. Now that club may not be us, but the point I'm making is that I think he's ready to take the step up and be a regular member of a match-day 18 for a team like us, if not yet the first XI.

The other talent is Sam Cook. When I first saw him I thought he had a bit of the Joe Allens about him. But I've got to say, he's rapidly changed my opinion. Fantastic on the ball and never stops running. To be honest I hope he stays at Leeds, because I feel at 18 that's the best place for him now.

Last would be Mowatt. He usually plays as a No.10 for them in a similar way as to how Barkley plays for us. Think he has the ability to step up for a lower mid-table Prem side, but not sure he's quite got the potential of Cook or Byram.

Stones going nowhere. He will leave when Barcelona have that money. Can't see him running around in Chelski and insignificant united. We still have a chance for topp 4 this year and if We can get a keeper that win the games I'm not surprise we will reach the CL spots.

Nice post mate cheers for the info, as i said i know next to nothing about Leeds

If we sell Lukaku it will be for much more than £40m, we signed him for £28m, he has scored 19 goals this season, is still only 22, unless Man Utd bid £60m, I don't think the club would entertain it. I could see this being a story started by his agent to get Lukaku an improved contract

spot on really, wouldnt shock me to see him resign a new deal with a one year extension on double the money

The rumour started with the Mirror. That jarg rag that placed Baines at United for pennies and hates Everton.

Rom won't be going anywhere in this window (summer may be different mind) and certainly not at a laughable £40m

Except Rom's Agent (who's different to the one he had when he signed) has said very loudly on a more than one occasion that Rom made a big mistake settling for such a 'small club' (Everton), and if he'd have been his agent at that point he wouldn't have allowed it. He'd be at a 'big club' earning twice as much and winning things.
