You see thats stretching it a little, we might take a few punts and a few loans to get by the FFP rules.

You want Goat to win because it means we've got 8 new lads in. Even I want him to win.

If we brought him in and got rid of McGeady, Kone, Niasse etc he'd get plenty of minutes.

I'm unsure on him but one thing's certain - he's got something to prove and a loan with option to buy gives him something to work for.

I think that is the saving grace of this deal. He has fairly dropped off the radar and if he wants to continue playing, and earning, in the richest league in the world, then he needs to put a shift in. He certainly won't be stuck for mates to talk to when he checks in at Belgerton.
