In fairness I was very calm for most of July but I don't get the lack of urgency at the minute. We seem a bit lax or complacent or something. Of course we can win our first couple of games but it will be typical everton if we get 2 points from 9, then the deadline signings come, we pick up form but miss out on top 4 by one win.

he didn't say 2 or 3 signings yesterday btw, he said potentially up to 3 INS by the end of the week.
He's admitted he got burnt on the Witsel one. Which is still by all accounts not off.
fgs Tim, that isn't gonna happen and two or three signings won't make that difference. They'd likely not even feature loads in the first few games.

Don't care who's playing I want the football to start and regardless of scores I want to see some passion and progress from some of the absolute garbage we played most of last season.
To be honest I'd prefer it if we had a healthy sprinkling of kids in and around the first team that would be a bonus.
