This would be a dream come true!!!...
Slaven Bilic's search for strikers is getting somewhat desperate so could an
Everton outcast help solve the problem?
West Ham United have been linked with a host of top strikers this summer but have already missed out on Dutch star Vincent Janssen after he opted to join
Spurs, as well as Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette despite having a record £31 million bid accepted.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic also failed with a bid to lure Belgian star Michy Batshuayi who instead joined London rivals Chelsea.
Meanwhile, a rumoured move for Liverpool's Christian Benteke and talk of bids for Juventus duo Simone Zaza and Mario Mandzukic have gone quiet.
Bacca-up plan?
Since then
West Ham have turned their attentions to
AC Milan's Colombian star striker
Carlos Bacca, but that too is in limbo.
Swansea City's Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan at Aston Villa are targets but West Ham have made it clear they are in the market for at least two strikers and maybe more given the likely departures of Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia.
Is Everton striker's number up?
Could
the Hammers' cash be better spent on Merseyside where Oumar Niasse has been completely frozen out by new Everton boss
Ronald Koeman?
The 26-year-old Senegal striker joined the
Toffees from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5m in January but has failed to score in just 152 minutes on the pitch for the club's first team.
Niasse has not been given a squad shirt number this summer and has also been frozen out of Everton's pre-season fixtures, as reported by the
BBC.
The Blues have been linked with moves for the Swansea City and Southampton defenders.
A Roberto Martinez signing, Niasse's future clearly lies elsewhere, and Everton will be keen to cut their losses on him.
With West Ham set to lose their own Senegal striker if Sakho does join West Bromwich Albion, they might be able to replace him relatively cheaply with a striker hungry to prove himself after an inauspicious start to life in the
Premier League.
