Everton Transfer Thread 2016

aye, we've been almost unaminous as a fanbase that we desperately need to sign a top goalie ever since Howard first started deteriorating after the 2014 World Cup. That we never did pre-Mosh could be down to old Bill and his old ways, but under Mosh there really is no reasonable excuse, not at this late stage of the Window.

I don't think it's the same old same old now with Moshiri being here. But the sunny uplands type of view of what we're in for is looking out of whack to say the least.

It's good to see you posting again, and very fair comment on the transfer activity we have seen (or haven't seen) this summer. I'm sure that will change but it will feel very last minute as we are all to familiar with.
...should never be this way again.

I want Moshiri to be a success, but this is not a great start.

@ggooggooggoo make sure your phone is plugged in mate - it must be about now where your mate gets sent down to the locker room to dust off contract blokes best suit before giving the press room a quick whip round with the Dyson and checking the butties haven't started to curl up at the edges!!!!

That'll be key. But until then....
We are going for targets that we would never have had a chance of getting, and before someone throws the man city thing in again that was a time when money wasn't as prevalent as it is now, but again people aren't happy to wait and see, and that is their choice,

We've been waiting and seeing ever since the Prem became a thing 25 years ago. At some point you realise the things our club could be doing to make that step up aren't being done.

This is why the comparisons to City, IMO, don't make sense nor should have any impact on our initial dealings under this new ownership.

They signed garbage, we will sign our fair bit too but we're interested in higher calibre than Jo and Tal Ben Haim.

Build the foundations, the rest will come.

lets be fair here, until ONE of these players 'we never have had a chance of getting' actually comes off, we still haven't accomplished anything.
