There is a reason mangala and otamendi are surplus to requirements....they aren't good enough. Can't believe your suggesting part exchanging stones and replacing him with a player that stones is going to replace at city.

To be fair mate, if we get any player from City in a part-exchange deal, it's because they are surplus to requirements. I just find it hard to believe that Mangala or Otamendi have gone from being 30m+ players to being complete 'dog' in a couple of seasons. I really do.

So once again we will playing catch up when the season starts....

Said it before.....somthing is not sitting right with me regards the board and all the noise coming from the club.

why will we be playing catch up? catch up with who?

we've made as many signings as Spurs have... we've got a decent squad that does need improvement.

at the moment we look a bit flat and it will most likely take some time for the style to click - and a few new signings would obviously help.

but the time to worry is if we haven't got the players in by the time the window shuts. not now. people are reading into things way too much at the moment.

There must be better players than Bony at City who we can get in a part-exchange deal. Either Mangala and Otamendi are going to be surplus to requirements, why not one of them?

Why? We need forward players not defenders. Managala is not better than Mori, Otamendi has not shown anything like the form he did in La Liga and I thought Bony was superb at holding up the ball when he was at Swansea, something we need in the team and is most definitely not one of Roms qualities.
