Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Basically this, it would be interesting to see whether so called lesser teams like us would get a heavier penalty should we break the rules and disrupt the top 4 though.

People are getting confused about the difference on FFP and STCC a lot here, there is no chance on earth we will fall foul on FFP - over the next 3 years we could have a net spend of something silly like 250m and still comply with it - the massive money flooding into the prem almost assures no club will get mucked up by it these days.

The limiting factor is nothing to do with European rules it's all about the premierships own rules to avoid the TV money being entirely pumped into a teams wages and (in theory) to stop clubs going bust if the bubble bursts etc. Which means that on the current wages paid (if over 67m per annum) a team is only alowed to increase by 7m per season on that total, unless it increases revenue from either it's own increased commercial deals (not including TV money etc) or by showing a profit on player trading on any player sold (doesn't factor in p[layers your buying) but just factors in what you bought the player your selling for, what he is sold for and how much of his initial fee has amortized down to - which it does over the length of their contracts - so McCarthy is valued at 6-7m atm, Niasse at about 12.5m - Cleverley at nothing, Mirallas as about 1m etc etc etc

What division is he in?

Here are your answer choices:

Premier League? Then he's a Premier League player.

And other league? Then he's a player from the league he'll be playing in.

What's so difficult?!

Yet as of now he's never played a Premier League game? Gueye and Stek have never featured in a Championship game.

This is the point you're failing to understand...

SURELY today is the day
Who is GOTs correspondant on the spot at Finch Farm ? Who is on airport watch ? Where are all our taxi driving posters ?
Is somebody keeping an eye on the County Road cash machine ?
I want a minute by minute account

Wouldnt waste your time mate.

If folk havnt got it yet, they never will.

Same as needing to sell players to buy new new ones.

No Stones hasn't left yet and also Everton haven't spent any dough yet either on in comings! Bit of a coincidence?

we've spent about £8mil on players, £8mil on Koeman, a considerable amount on Walsh.

The money is there. We've agreed a 30mil EURO fee with Zenit over a month ago for our favourite Belgian midfielder, and are willing to go to way over £10mil to sign Williams - a proven quality centre half and the captain of a rival club...

TAKE YOUR LOGIC STEVE AND DO ONE WILL YOU

My ITK says Mata, Witsel and Carvalho will be signing by end of the week. He didn't say what they'll be signing, but has insider info that they sign for items when paying with their credit card, and that they are especially friendly with fans and are more than happy to sign the odd autograph. Anyway, if this changes I'll let you guys know, but for now they're definitely signing something this week.

Aye was thinking about doing a copy paste in word for whenever anyone came out with the FFP thing, then realised i could spend those 5 minutes staring at a wall instead and have more fun :)
