Everton Transfer Thread 2016

I think if you go player for player, tinted specs say Everton come out on top.

The truth is however West Ham are a good team, we aren't necessarily a good team right now/haven't been for a while - which yes can come down to said relegated manager. But we are in the now and this is how it is I feel.

Which goes back to the point...they've got a better manager.

I mean, look at the RS. I'd say they were even worse squad then ours last season...Klopp came in, finished above us and got to 2 finals ffs!

Literally think the minute these "overrated" players like Lukaku and Stones go to their new clubs to win things, we'll be no further than where we were last season.

Mata, Witsel, Koulibaly.

Gueye, Bolasie, Williams.

There's a trend there.

I think it shows two things.

First, our new owner was tremendously naive in thinking he could throw money at us and everyone will come flocking.

Second, the staff at Everton responsible for acquisitions are (or at least have been until recently) utterly incompetent.

It looks like we're finally using a bit of common sense and looking for B-tier signings who will improve us. Except that Bolasie wouldn't improve us at all, but oh well, the idea is right anyway.

Mate if those players left and decent replacements weren't brought in we'd be fighting relegation.

Three of those players are valued at £40m plus each, and that's being conservative. The other one is a Barcelona prodigy who could easily go on to be a world beater if his head clicks.

They are not overrated at all - the problem is that our squad is severely imbalanced, with no leadership, confidence or intensity of play whatsoever.

Bingo.
