Id be reasonably happy with Sissoko. Has Galloway actually gone on loan to Newcastle yet? It looks like Bony is a non starter though as things have gone quiet on that front. I thought Saints got a bargain when they got Austin for 4mill but he seems to have been permanently injured since and not sure we have enough space at FF for another crock. I always thought Remy would be a very good replacement striker for us. He has always scored goals when he has had a run in a team and will run the channels and hold the ball up which appears to be what Koeman wants. We definitely need an ace through ball merchant though and if we aren't getting Mata really hope we are in for Ziyech or Nasri (even if he is a bell).

Agree there fella. All got the same mentality and consistency of kev which isn't good enough. I know people will fume as they love his every move but if you only turn up once every 5 games then we will win nothing.
The thing is mate, Benteke would cost £20m+ - probably closer to £30m. And he's finished.
It's not about comparing him to Kone; it's about comparing him to other options surely available in the market that make much, much more sense to bring in.
How about one or two punts from the continent or South America, like Gabriel Barbosa? Or a guy who actually has a chance to be a success and would be worth the same sort of outlay, like Bas Dost? Or how about moving Mirallas to the designated second striker... basically anything but Benteke.
