Nah, he was 19 when they got him, and the fact that he cost £5 million, says he was pretty much already developed.

They always seem to be injured. Witshire is a perma crock. The place is like the Darren Anderton society.

From brief observations it appears as if they have an 'injury crisis' every season, and this season's has started before they kicked the first ball.

Usually however it's the midfield that suffers. You wouldn't get good odds from the bookies for Wilshere, Ox and Ramsey all the be crocked!

We have already established we are bringing a keeper in due to the interest in Hart, we know we have a bid in for Kone so must be after a centre half. We know we are chasing the lid from Deportivo and the back up right back from Southampton, that's 4 already........we had a bid in for Ghezzal or whatever he is called so that makes 5.

Unless it is all a conspiracy theory and an attempt to make a few people over anxious, send them over the edge and into a mental asylum as they take the transfer window as life and death.

For the umpteenth time we have struggled to attract top calibre players because of our last 2 seasons, that's all, so the gameplan changed to the next tier players. I agree we should spend more though but not wistfully.

Well if we offered him 20 times his current salary he is not going to be happy if Lyon offered less than half of that increase.
He sounds like a bit of a tool tbh. Players can be talented (discussing Balotelli an example), but if they are all over the place mentally and unsure of what they want, they are better off being swerved.
