This bloody 100m warchest does my nut.

10m on table for Ghezzal
16m on table for perez (apparently)
15m plus for Kone
Looking to loan Hart
Whatever we put down for Witsel

That is all a LOT of money and well above the money we made from Stones.

Cannot for all you moaners to eat your words come deadline day.

Perez. I'd be happy with that Perez lad, but he needs to learn to time his runs. He's quick, too quick for the linesmen to keep up with his to make correct offside calls by the looks of some of his goals.

Kone. I wonder what RK is now thinking along the front line now that he kept Gerry away altogether, and Kone of all people came on and showed Rom how it's done. More of a role than we thought? I didn't see the game, just highlights so it could have been more because of poor defending than top play by him. But if that's the case, why couldn't the irreplaceable Rom do it?

Mario. I'm torn. I've always hated the guy, his attitude and the fact he's incredibly overrated by the red I work with every Friday. There is a good (and still young) player in there, and that player coming out when he's playing for US would wind them up to no end, especially if he scores against them. But, if Mourinho couldn't tame him, I doubt RK will have much chance. As others have said, maybe he needs to realise he's not as good as he was prematurely perceived as being, and he needs to actually work for the saviour of his career. Him being heavily linked to Wolves last week could have been the trigger to make him think he needs to wake up. If he's cheap enough, I'd take a gamble. Maybe just for cup games at first. Plummet his wages with high performance based incentives. By cheap enough, I mean we'd get plenty of change from Niasse. Also, if there's a disagreement on the pitch, how could you NOT want to watch him and Rom go at it?! #EFCUFC!

Moshiri. Id be disappointed if he didn't throw about 50-60M of his own money at players for his first season. Especially one big name at 40+ to make a splash and let people know we're here. Saying that, I'm happy with the changes so far and I think we're already improved over last season thanks largely to the new manager he brought in. That coupled with the new dock stadium announcement, with maybe an artists rendition of his vision, and I'd consider the window a huge success.

The forum. I'm relatively new here. Few months but this will be my first transfer deadline day. I can't work out if I'm excited about it, nervous or just plain scared! Let the good times roll!

Just to pick up the point of Kone mate.

He was laying Yeovil so i would imagine that is why he looked better than he has done before lol

but from the west brom game, it appears we are going to play with high intensity and speed as well. Kone can't do that so can't see him factoring in the team this season. My concern is that signing this lucas that we do what we did on sat and put balls over the top for him to run on to all game .

Well if we offered him 20 times his current salary he is not going to be happy if Lyon offered less than half of that increase.
He sounds like a bit of a tool tbh. Players can be talented (discussing Balotelli an example), but if they are all over the place mentally and unsure of what they want, they are better off being swerved.

Supposedly he's looking for a move to one of the top clubs in the champions league.

Tell you what I enjoyed last night....ASHLEY WILLIAMS, he doesn't keep his gob shut, constant shouting and bollocking and assuring. Like a CAPTAIN almost...

EXACTLY like JAGS does in fact...

Oh....oh hang on.

Big week this I reckons (again)

Utter bulb in front of me last night. 4-0 win yet says '...I'm not convinced and BOLASSIE's just plain lazy...'

Some of our fans need locking in cages laaaaaa....

For the umpteenth time we have struggled to attract top calibre players because of our last 2 seasons, that's all, so the gameplan changed to the next tier players. I agree we should spend more though but not wistfully.

It's difficult that people are struggling with this innit...

'Y'wanna sign for Everton or hang on & see if a bit of European comes in...?'

'Tell me where Everton finished last few seasons again...?'

The prob is not the budget or what we can lay out....the difficulty is the selling of the club & the project to the players.

It's kinda basic yet some are expecting transfer miracles.

It's a slow build. That said it's moving on quicker than it has done for years...
