Tell you what I enjoyed last night....ASHLEY WILLIAMS, he doesn't keep his gob shut, constant shouting and bollocking and assuring. Like a CAPTAIN almost...

EXACTLY like JAGS does in fact...

Oh....oh hang on.

Big week this I reckons (again)

Utter bulb in front of me last night. 4-0 win yet says '...I'm not convinced and BOLASSIE's just plain lazy...'

Some of our fans need locking in cages laaaaaa....

Spot on mate, thought he put a shift in. The only things I'd say negative about him, was that some of his shooting was a bit wild and he could've laid a few balls off rather than shooting.

that will come in time. He will be desperate to impress right now so probably wants to get a goal to win the fans over more.

As the season knuckles down i can see him being the team player more, ala del last year. started wanting to be the hero and then once his head was down, starting setting up rom every week.

Agreed mate, think that sharpness'll come with BOLASSIE. Well impressed with him like.

Plus he wears black boots and not the euro house neon disco slipper that seems to be the norm.

Which is sound by me.

Just to pick up the point of Kone mate.

He was laying Yeovil so i would imagine that is why he looked better than he has done before lol

but from the west brom game, it appears we are going to play with high intensity and speed as well. Kone can't do that so can't see him factoring in the team this season. My concern is that signing this lucas that we do what we did on sat and put balls over the top for him to run on to all game .

Why's that a problem - horses for courses mate.

It'll work against some teams, and against others we'll have to have a different tact.

It's a fair point @Tubey made either, signing 3 or 4 so close to the window closing could be labelled panic buying, not neccessary is, but labelled as such.
Labelled by who?

Saying "any more than 2 signings would be labeled panic buying" is meaningless. 2 is an arbitrary number. Why not 1, or 3? It also fails to take into account a whole host of unknowns; how long have we scouted the player? Have they only just come available? Has the price changed to make the player available, etc etc.

Tubey or anyone else on here knows any of this in reality, so the only reason for stating we could be deemed panic buying is to put a negative spin on what the club are trying to do. I understand people not getting excited about players we haven't signed or things that haven't happened but I just don't get the attitude of doing the same thing about potential negative things. Not sure what people get from it.

From Crystal Palace website....

Crystal Palace are on of a host of Premier League clubs that are targeting Everton outcast Oumar Niasse, according to reports

Sunderland, Hull and West Brom are all said to be interested in signing the striker before the end of this summer’s transfer window.

However, they face competition from Turkish Super League side Besiktas, according to Turkish television station LigTV.

Niasse joined Everton in January for a fee in the region of £13.5m but has made just seven league appearances since then and is out-of-favour under new boss Ronald Koeman.

The Senegal international was also arrested in May on suspicion of assault. With Everton unhappy with his misconduct, they are looking to move him on as soon as possible.

Palace are looking for a striker to support new club-record signing Christian Benteke, who is believed to have cost the Eagles £32m (including add-ons).

Manager Alan Pardew has pressure mounting on him having won just two league games in 2016.

Can't believe where 6 days away from deadline day and are big signing is Bolasie. Haha, what happened to the war chest of money?. We haven't even spent the bloody Stones money.

Simply incredible. Take yer misery blinkers off mate. And the rest of the warchest denial brigade.

Let me spell it out for ya...

Spent:
£85m investment in club shares
£10m to sack Martinez
£5m to buy Koeman
£3m to buy Walsh
£20m to buy land for new stadium
£25m for Bolasie
£7m for Gana
£12m for Williams
So far...

Incoming:
£47.5m for Stones

Rough net investment by Moshiri to date before bids we know of (another 20-25m?), potential last day transfer dealings and before accounting for Sky money...

£120m.

Shoot me down if it's not penny perfect, but you get the gist.
