Think the problem was the absurd comparisons between us and when City were taken over. There were lengthy threads about it. A lot of people's expectations were off the scale.

But even city had to start somewhere after the takeover. Big difference was volume of cash and the stadium available almost immediately. I reckon as a business organisation there was more work to be done, we all know the shambles business wise

Well if reports are to be believed they want possibly over £20m for him mate.

Looking like we may have to accept that we won't get the big names we want in this window and need to be up there in January or have made europe for next summer for things to actually happen. Bit frustrating but when has supporting Everton not been in the last 25 years.

Bit steep for me that

I'd pay no more than 15 Million for him, with possibly an extra 5 Million to WBA if he scores a certain amount of goals

I didnt really want him either, based on some of this transfer nonsense. But Berahinho has been pulling this for a few years now, which is pretty extreme, I think. Him not even being close to replicate his one good season doesnt help either.

We never needed to sign big names

Stekky, Williams and Gana have made us a better team, that's what's most important

I was playing FIFA the other week as At Madrid. Was playing Real Madrid in the league. I went 1-0 up through Gamiro. Real made a sub. Benzema off. Berahino on.
