I'm sure he will say that - it would be the right thing to say for all concerned
So you think he would say it to save face for us because he chose West Ham.

You'll never know the actual truth - which is why you have to make your own mind up about these things and go with your gut.Why would he do that? Even if it's true, it just adds pressure the moment he is benched or doesn't play every minute. He'll trot out the usual platitudes about big club, great opportunity etc. same as if he joined for us
If Byram goes to West Ham it's for 1 reason and 1 reason only....Money, doesn't matter if they getting a free stadium they will never fill it or be as big as Us
Perhaps - clearly it's true to say he will start there. Having said that I think had Arsenal or Spurs for example come calling West Ham wouldn't get a look in. But that's just my gut instinct. So you think he will say it to save face for us because he chose West Ham.
Martinez wouldn't be looking for a RB had Coleman not got injured.
And if we'd been the club who low balled you'd still be moaning however this time about the club not being prepared to spend. The truth mate is I don't think a lot of people who post here want to see what a precarious position we are actually in. They'd rather blindly trust Roberto and to a lesser extent the board. But if our ambitions are let's say champions league then we should see that being low balled by the likes of West Ham and losing out means we have issues that need addressing.
Sense at last , he wasnt getting in front of Coleman any time soon......no big loss really.I'm sure he will say that - it would be the right thing to say for all concerned

We're never going to be 100% successful in getting every player we are linked with, no club are , yet you seem to have that unrealistic expectation.
West Ham forums were moaning about losing out for 4m Austin yesterday as they need a striker and their chairman had totally messed up that deal by saying he had not knee ligaments.
Wonder if he'd have turned his back on Spurs or ArsenalAs so many have pointed out already Byram has probably opted for a club where he has a better chance of getting a game every week.
At Everton he is competing with Coleman, Deulofeu, Lennon and Mirallas for a place on the right hand side of the team.
I expect that RM could make no promises about playing and after being a regular for so long he found he could not suddenly become just a squad player.
I would like us to take the money saved and talk to Fulham about Dembele.
