Davek he was right all alongAnyone said - dodged a bullet yet?
Got a bad feeling about this deal when I heard he was training with Leeds this morning. Why on earth if he had allegedly agreed personal terms and passed a medical yesterday was he allowed to go back to train with Leeds. I don't think the lad was swayed by money or family. Let's face it he could have commuted from Leeds if he wanted to play for us and still be close to family and friends. I'm certain it was a football decision cos he will get more game time for them.Wonder if he'd have turned his back on Spurs or Arsenal
I mean this in all honesty. With regard to Yarmolenko, he's a very talented player who has been linked to Barcelona and Chelsea. Is he coming here to join a squad, or be part of a stepping stone to a big club immediately? because if it's the latter is he going to gel with the squad and is it going to exacerbate issues that martinez stopped by selling Eto'o? Look at Arnautovic in Stoke - a few good performances and he's turning down contract extensions. Is that going to rub off onto other talented players and possible hasten a break up of the squad?
If Byram goes to West Ham it's for 1 reason and 1 reason only....Money, doesn't matter if they getting a free stadium they will never fill it or be as big as Us
You've done a bloody good job of not answering the question mate.Got a bad feeling about this deal when I heard he was training with Leeds this morning. It all makes perfect sense now! It was a smoke screen to go nab Yarms while no one was watching. Yes Bobby you transfer ninja£8.5m from Naismith, £3.7m recently set aside for Byram, and the board probably has another £10m available right now. There we have over £22m. And who costs £22m, good sirs?
Yarmolenk...ON!
Forgot to put that part in. Arsenal and spurs are like Everton, have got two right full backs already that are better than Byram in walker and bellerin. Similar to us in that regard he would be back up going to each of those clubs. But with both offering European football (arsenal for not much longer this season) he could possibly had got more game time there then at Everton. Add in the lure of London he might have chosen them over West Ham. I genuinely think the lad wants football, time will tell if it was the right decision. You've done a bloody good job of not answering the question mate.
Well remembered about the medical and personal terms though. Makes it even more of a farce really.
