Agreed, isn't holgate a rb? Rather give him the slot
But he isn't going to be getting in the england squad if he is sat on his arse watching coleman play every week?Put it this way, if he thought he was going to push for a spot in the england team he would sign for us as he could be alongside 3 other emgland international defenders.
If he felt he couldnt get into our side past coleman then he doesnt think hes good enough for england...as you need to believe youre the best to play at that level.
Hopefully Kenny comes through pronto as we really need another RB.
@Jags..class Holgate plays the same position as stones but he and pennington could fill in at RB.
it's never stopped you posting utter testicles before...I'm just saying..... i'm in regular contact with somebody who used to post a lot of info on here but I wouldn't start posting stuff on here..... takes some nads to post something on here and face being being ridiculed for it unless you feel 100 % your info is correct.
On the basis that we either plan to push one through our academy or sign one in the summer then a experienced back up in case of injury isn't too far fetched, just planning for the next few months? Any right back, or striker or hell even goalkeeper signed isn't going to displace who we already have in the team. If it is a case of first choice doesn't sign then getting an experienced back up to cover isn't the worst thing in the world business wise.Hmm, maybe some of them, but I doubt all - he's on a reported 70k p/w I believe...
If he comes I'll be happy with the signing like, but I really just think it'd be a weird move.
Byram was a very logical move for all parties - this one wouldn't be.
it's a thankless task. They get hounded out by hipster meffs. The entire point of this thread is to pass on info, most of it is likely guff but that's missing the point.I'm just saying..... i'm in regular contact with somebody who used to post a lot of info on here but I wouldn't start posting stuff on here..... takes some nads to post something on here and face being being ridiculed for it unless you feel 100 % your info is correct.
yer mar likes my testicles ladit's never stopped you posting utter testicles before...
Think that sums up my atitude mate. Sitting after the chelsea game and despite all what was wrong with the result and stuff, the faqct it was happening again just got a little bit fustrating. Said it the other day, i feel our season either carries on or ends next week in the cup, if you can't win a game league wise after scoring 3 goals in it on almost a regular occurance then don't expect great things to happen! This is true.
The most frustrating aspect is that we're so close to moving from mid-table to suddenly being top 4 Everton (this season) - but those fine margins (Howard, missing chances, Howard, stubbornness in tactics, bad referees, Howard) have cost us.
Can I have a chocolate biscuit
I think you will find that all the chocolate biscuits are at West Ham and Stoke !
We don't need a long term pemement cb/rb though, debuchy or anyone else on loan would make sense just as cover for seamus until the summerIs it Debuchy we are after or Callum Chambers Darth??
Debut is obviously the better player now but how much hunger has he got left. His big wage etc, I'd have preferred Chambers. I know he's having a bit of a bad patch but his ceiling is higher, he still has it all to achieve and he was also very highly rated and actually had a good start to his Arsenal career after a big move so young. At one stage people saying he was better than Shaw.
I think Bobby could bring him to those levels again and we have been linked previously and he is the type of signing we should be looking to make although I do expect a few to be underwhelmed.
Obviously we need to add the odd Yarmalenko type signing but Chambers would be a good buy could also be a long term centre half solution which is his best position.

or coleman is a bloody good right back, still got a fair few years left in him and therefore he isn't exactly retiring any time soon.
