We were awful at home last season. We beat Stoke and needed a fluky penalty to do so. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still need a play maker.

We really deserved to win the game though mate. Flukey penalty or not it was a deserved win and we totally neutralised Stoke apart from two attempts late on.

We lost 4-3 in the same fixture last year.

Defensively we are sound. I really like our signings and we have made a good start however we still need a play maker otherwise we will struggle at home to put teams away. Surely that's not an opinion you disagree with?

Shouldn't we just try our luck with Loic Rémy? He doesn't play a minute at Chelsea, surely we'd have a chance... he's proven his ability in the PL, why go with some unknown quantity from Italy?
He's hardly played for years and his injury record makes Sturridge look good. He's a massive gamble and a waste of money imo.

No I agree mate.

However, I think it's how Koeman decides to do it.

While I - like you I imagine - think maybe somebody in the mould of a Brahimi (he's like Pienaar, but a bit quicker) would be the one, Koeman may well want to go for Sissoko to add some pace and power from central midfield, freeing Ross up to be that playmaker.

Either way I'm sure we're in for an interesting few days - in regards to INs and OUTs

Well if Brahimi is like Pienaar then I have no problem with him however from the sounds of him he isn't but I haven't seen enough to really judge myself.

while it is tenuous, that would be your playmaker @MartyMcFly
Yea and I would be happy with him. His stats are fantastic. Obviously it's a bit of a punt him coming from a poor team in a poor league.

The only reservation I have is that I think we need the type of play maker that is used to playing in a team with a lot of possession not one who requires a lot of space.

Not sure who we could get if I'm honest.
