No, it doesn't, to be honest.

Because our moderator told us "he is ours", which indicates a deal has been agreed on, not that he'd agreed on the basis that Juve don't come in for him.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, the sources were way off the mark and he'll probably think twice before relaying any of their info on here in the future, and rightly so.

I don't mind, like I said it just interests me a lot. I trust he has inside knowledge of sorts and appreciate him sharing said knowledge when it comes to info on stadium, finances, boardroom, etc.

That's what I think. I think the club were proceeding as if Martinez was still here because they may as well and otherwise the fans would get restless and then when Koeman had a look and Walsh came in everything changed.

I said hopefully he can be moved on, he signed a contract because he likes it here and Everton gave him a contract because they would command a fee if and when he goes.

We were awful at home last season. We beat Stoke and needed a fluky penalty to do so. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still need a play maker.

I don't disagree with that. I just don't think he was given a contract so we could get a fee. He's a squad player and obviously happy to play that role and we are happy for him to play that role.
