Tbh that's the thing - it's not that he's a tit I'm bothered with, it's the fact that in that year with us he'll play 2 games.

To be fair to him, the majority of his injuries have been knocks rather than muscle related. It's the way he plays. His style invites challenges plus he's a bit of a knob with some of his tackles.

Agree though, we'd be lucky to get a dozen games out of him and his wages won't be cheap either.

Interesting to see Juan Cuadrado wants to extend his loan in Italy.
I remember Roberto raving about him and possibly viewing him as his dream signing. He has been woeful in this league and was desperate to leave back for Italy asap. A massive flop for Chelsea, as other expensive signings have been before.

A stark reminder that players have to able to acclimatise and settle in a country. Not just about a players ability on the pitch.

Whilst Wilshire has been injured alot, undoubtedly - is he better than all of our current CMs? Just ability? i'd say yes. Injury record obviously no.
If we got 30 games out of him we would be more likely to win those 30 than 30 without him.
It's a loan highly likely to be subsidised by Arsenal. No brainer.

I don't think he has ever played long enough to make an honest assessment as to if he can deliver any ability in any consistent way - any positive reputation he holds has a very healthy share of "he plays in London for a Sky team hype attached to it" - rather give our youngsters a go!

He's legit played 180 minutes of football in the last 2 seasons though, I believe. Or at least 1 calendar year, or something like that.
