I highly doubt that. What player better than Bony is going to come to us to be backup / 2nd striker to Rom.

I can accept he didn't come because he wanted first team football or even we didn't want him for whatever reason but not because we can get better.

why would we go after someone who costs 40m euros and is higher rated than someone who costs about 10m euros less .... and plays in a different position?
