"insane" translates to "I never expected to have to spend this much on one player."

That's what I suspected has happened. He probably thought spending 100m would give us a shot at CL when the reality is it barely gives us a shot at Europa league.

The two Milan clubs are at about a historical low and any PL club worth its salt should be able to beat them to a signature like his.

It's still Milan. He might just want to go for the lifestyle.

He's won everything for Barca and Chelsea. He doesn't need to prove anything and has been playing since he was about 17.
