Same principle, his investment isn't worth much if we don't sign any players that the manager actually needs to progress the team up the league. All well and good having what we have but i would like to think our targets will improve the team and potentially be worth more points to us over the next 35 games.
He hasn't invested. He's bought shares. There's a difference.

Let's wait until he actually invests before we say he has. Same with the stadium. Let's wait until we see something concrete before we get excited over that.

Oh jesus.....we've got one right here....

Great excuses for the exciting summer we where meant to have...

NOT SPENT A PENNY!!!

Nope. Positive spend. £6m of stones money went to Barnsley.
We spent over £15m binning off Martinez, getting koeman and getting Walsh.

Yes we've not signed some of the massive names we wanted, but it's not like we've not been in for them. And we've been severely limited by the mess left behind from Martinez.

We're on the up. We have a stronger squad now than at the start of the window, and it will improve even more over next couple of windows.

Still think we'll have an even more positive spend by the end of the day.

also paid the debt off as well apparantly, and buying up land for a stadium if the talk is to be believed.

Surely that is far more than just buying shares?

Anyone know anything about DC-L?

Everton have agreed a £1.4m deal with Sheffield United to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has just been called up to the England Under-20 squad. Calvert-Lewin joined Sheffield United at the age of eight and made his debut for the club in April last year. He enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Northampton Town last season and has attracted interest from Manchester United as well as Everton. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is a Sheffield boy and grew up a few streets away from where Jamie Vardy lived, near Hillsborough
Yep, Koeman really wanted this guy. Thinks he has a big future.

Koeman has added four solid players to the team. Has brought with him new belief for us fans and revitalised and rejuvenated the dressing room.. thats a great start to this VERY NEW and exciting era for all of us blues. Whilst we all are blinkered today like Rabbits caught in the headlights of an oncoming car, let's remember how different, strong and positive we now look from the shambles just 3 months ago.
Koeman, Walsh and co will be undoubtedly working and trying to bring in several new players, I'm very proud of my club, the way it acts and the integrity our board and manager are showing since they arrived. We will bring in a few today, I'm sure of that. While we wait though, instead of complaining about Interest that the circus that is Sky tells us about, have faith in the great start we have had and the fantastic turnaround our great club has undergone already, in such a short space of time!! For the first time in a long time im personally seriously loving being a blue, rather than worrying about where we are going!!!! Coyb
